APPLICATION: Mold Steel for plastic molds, zinc die
casting dies, and other materials.
Supplied in the pre-hardened condition, approximately
300 Brinel l , for inject ion Plast ic molds and zinc die cast ing dies.
Higher hardness, approximately 330 Brinel, is immediately
available in certain stcoked sizes and always available on
a custom-order basis. Mold Die can also be supplied in
the annealed condition.
Mold Die is produced exclusively by the Finkl patented*
VAD process and provides the cleanest, most homogeneous
structure available, giving maximum machinability
and polishability in the industry.
* Produced under one or more of the following
patents: 4,541,862;4,600,427; others pending
Full service metallurgical expertise is available upon
request. Mold Die is ALWAYS forged steel from upset
ingots with a minimum 5-to-1 reduction of area.
Mold Die is 100% ultrasonically tested to the most rigid industry
standards and is fully warranted and approved by all
major users.Mold Die Physical and Machining Pr operties
